Compassion. Experience. Results.
Since taking office in 2021, Pat Duffy has focused on delivering tangible results for the district, most notably joining the advocacy for a $400 million state investment for the Veterans Home. Beyond the financial commitment, Representative Duffy was instrumental in ensuring that local stakeholders maintain a seat on the statewide Veterans Home board, guaranteeing that those who live and work in the community have a direct say in the care of our heroes.
“Our work has always been about making sure this community isn’t just heard, but is leading the conversation,” said Pat Duffy. “From the halls of the State House to residents in the district, my priority is ensuring our district has the resources and the ability to shape our own future. I do that by both bringing Holyokers’ voices to Boston and my colleagues to Holyoke.
Duffy has hosted both the House Chair of the Joint Committee on Housing and the Gateway Cities Legislative Caucus in Holyoke, bringing them together with developers looking to take advantage of the House Development Incentive Program (HDIP). She went on to lead the advocacy for increasing access to that program in the Affordable Homes Act. Now Holyoke has four housing projects developing under that program and more in the pipeline.
